
Chess Tactics
A chess tactic refers to a short sequence of moves which limits the opponent's options and which results in tangible gain – Wikipedia. You often see in games that a high ranking piece is being sacrificed and then after a few more moves the King’s enemy is mate! It happens so because of chess tactics. Chess tactics are like knockout punches in the game of chess. Tactics are immediate and surprise moves that threaten to mate, check, or capture your opponent’s King or high ranking piece. Master the chess tactics and you’ll have that chess knockout punches in the game.
How to play
- Just click the “tell me the move” link if you don’t know the right move to a corresponding chess tactic lesson and it will tell you.
- After finishing one lesson, wait until a new chess tactic lesson will load up again into play.
